Bridgestone invests in increasing rubber collection volumes
The Bridgestone Corporation owns nearly 24,000 hectares of natural rubber plantations in Indonesia and has set plans to increase yields to ensure sustainable supplies of natural rubber for tire production.
By 2030, the company plans to invest $26.7 million. The goal of these investments is to increase the productivity of the plantations, while Bridgestone aims to double the harvest volume (compared to the 2022 forecast) on this area by 2035.
