Bridgestone invests $3 million in Halfords' Avayler system

Bridgestone has invested $3 million in a 5% stake in Halfords Group Plc, a software development company offering Avayler as a service. Thus, the investment values the two-year-old Avayler business at $60.5 million.

Under the agreement, Avayler will provide Bridgestone with access to Avayler's software products for garages and vans, as well as certain services to facilitate their use by Bridgestone. These include maintenance, development, implementation and support services.
