Bridgestone and Eneos are building a pilot plant for ELT pyrolysis

Bridgestone Corporation, in cooperation with Eneos Corporation and with the support of the Japanese government's New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO), will build a new demonstration plant for the pyrolysis of end-of-life tires at the Seki manufacturing site.

Starting construction work in November 2025, the partners plan to put the plant into operation in September 2027 with a capacity to process 7,500 tons of tires per year.
