Bridgestone and Dow are working on a new tire sealant technology

The partnership between Bridgestone and Dow has led to the development of B-SEALS, a silicone-based tire sealant technology that is recyclable. After conducting over 4 years of joint research, the companies plan to showcase their developments at the upcoming show in Detroit, Michigan, USA.

B-SEALS technology can provide excellent sealing in the event of a puncture without compromising environmental friendliness. The new silicone-based sealant can be easily removed after application, unlike traditionally used sealants which are typically difficult to separate from the tire.
