The Maxam brand entered the truck tire market
Maxam Tire (part of the Sailun group) has introduced its first line of truck tires, which includes models for long-haul and regional transportation, as well as for mixed operating conditions. All tires are made using the EcoPoint3 technology, which, due to the use of liquid-phase rubber mixing, allows for the simultaneous improvement of various characteristics, such as fuel efficiency, wear resistance, and traction on wet surfaces.
"We are pleased to present our line of truck tires on the market," said Jimmy McDonnell, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Maxam. "The expansion of the range reflects our desire to offer customers high-quality and reliable tires for various applications, and each model in the new line has been designed to combine high efficiency, economy, and durability, making the Maxam brand the best choice for professionals in the transportation industry."
Currently, the Maxam truck tire family includes eight models, the details of which are given below.
For Long-Haul Transportation
Maxam MX100L. A trailer tire with a ribbed tread pattern designed to increase mileage, improve fuel efficiency, and enhance traction on wet roads. An additional groove helps prevent uneven wear, while the sipes in the tread increase traction and reduce stress on the edges of the ribs, making wear more even. Additionally, the increased tread width improves stability and extends the life of the tire, and the manufacturer also notes that the tires are ideal for retreading. Available in sizes 11R22.5, 11R24.5, 285/75 R24.5, and 295/75 R22.5 (other Maxam long-haul tires are also available in these sizes).

Maxam MX200L. A steering tire with a very similar tread pattern, which, like the MX100L, includes sipes and a groove, while the rubber compound, according to the manufacturer, provides the best-in-class fuel efficiency and wet traction.

Maxam MX300L. A drive axle tire with solid shoulder ribs that improve handling and stability, as well as increase the tire's lifespan. The shape of the central blocks is designed to reduce tread deformation and provide even wear, while the increased groove depth (24 mm) extends the tire's life, and the wide tread improves stability.

For Regional Transportation
Maxam MX210R. A steering tire that stands out for its increased strength, while the large tread depth (16 mm) provides a high mileage. The tread pattern is formed by wide ribs that improve wear evenness and create a stable contact patch, providing optimal stability and handling, including in rainy weather. Available in sizes 11R22.5 and 11R24.5.

Maxam MX310R. A drive axle tire designed to balance high traction and improved ride comfort, with a tread pattern featuring large blocks and open shoulder sections, allowing the tire to function effectively in challenging weather and road conditions. The tire is produced in size 11R22.5.

For Mixed Operating Conditions
Maxam MX220V. All-position tires equipped with stone ejectors in the grooves, which reduce the likelihood of damage, while the solid shoulder ribs increase the tire's strength when operating in challenging conditions, and the rubber compound is optimized to improve resistance to punctures and cuts. The tread depth has been increased to 24 mm, extending the tire's life. MX220V (like other Maxam tires in this segment) is available in sizes 11R22.5 and 11R24.5.

Maxam MX320V. A drive axle tire that stands out for its versatility and is suitable for use in challenging conditions. The tread pattern is designed to both improve traction and slow down wear, the rubber compound has been modified to increase the tire's lifespan, and the tire also features reduced rolling resistance.

Maxam MX325V. Another drive axle tire that is also optimized to combine high traction on various surfaces, increased resistance to abrasive wear, and improved durability.
