Blatco appoints construction consultants for tire plant project in Saudi Arabia

Three years ago, Black Arrow Tire Co. (Blatco) announced its plans to build a tire factory in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Shortly after, Kumho confirmed it was in talks with Blatco. In March 2024, Kumho and Blatco signed a technology licensing agreement reportedly set to last for 20 years.

Latest news: in mid-February 2025, under the umbrella of the Public Investment Fund (PIF) summit of the government of Saudi Arabia, Blatco signed a "strategic partnership" with both Kumho and another Korean company, Misong Tech.
