In 2021, the North American market saw the introduction of BFGoodrich Trail-Terrain T/A tires for crossovers, SUVs, and pickup trucks, designed for everyday use but capable of handling light off-roading, and now the lineup has been expanded with an updated model, dubbed the BFGoodrich Trail-Terrain T/A+.

As with the recently introduced Michelin X-Ice Snow+, the plus sign in the name means that the tread pattern has not been changed, but the rubber compound has been modified, and for the new BFGoodrich, a compound with increased silica content was developed. It is reported that the modernization of the company's production facilities has made it possible to launch mass production of rubber compounds with improved characteristics, and the Trail-Terrain T/A+ differs from the previous generation tire by an increased lifespan, which has grown by 25%, while the grip on wet pavement has been increased by 10%, and rolling resistance has been reduced by 5%.

BFGoodrich notes that the tread pattern is designed to provide high acoustic comfort, while the 3PMSF (three-peak mountain snowflake) marking confirms the effectiveness of the tires when used on snow.

The tires have entered the North American market in 34 sizes with a rim diameter from 16 to 22 inches, and options with the HL (high load) marking and white sidewall lettering are available. The warranty mileage is up to 105,000 km.
