"Belshina" received the State Sign of Quality

JSC "Belshina" has been included in the list of enterprises that have received State Quality Marks, which were recently awarded by the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko.

The quality mark was awarded to the Belshina Astarta SUV tires (models Bel-402 96H and Bel-411 102H in sizes 215/60 R17 and 225/65 R17 respectively) for crossovers and SUVs, featuring a directional tread pattern designed for maximum water and mud removal, as well as improved directional stability.

More than 600 Belarusian products competed for the Quality Mark in 2024, evaluated according to parameters such as "safety, environmental friendliness, innovation, technological effectiveness, and aesthetics".

"We proudly accept the State Quality Mark of sovereign Belarus as a symbol of high standards and impeccable quality of our products," said Alexander Kovalenko, General Director of "Belshina", to the "Vestnik Belneftekhim" newspaper. "This award is the best evaluation of the hard work of our entire team, the entire collective of 'Belshina'. The Quality Mark awarded to us testifies that we are on the right path - the path to perfection".

As noted by "Belarus Today", the Astarta SUV tires were developed at the request of Geely (which has a joint venture "Belji" in Belarus) and successfully passed all tests as part of the Chinese company's plan to localize Belshina's products.

"The innovative product has undergone testing not only at the enterprise but also at the test site of the automotive institute in China, and the result showed that our tires surpass analogs produced in the PRC in many parameters," said Sergey Kayushnikov, Head of the Engineering and Technical Center of "Belshina". "Last year, 114 thousand such passenger tires for Belarusian crossovers were sold. In 2025, we will launch 28 sizes of new-generation passenger tires into serial production".
