Belshina has agreed on rubber supplies from Vietnam

On August 5, JSC "Belshina" was visited by the General Director of the Vietnamese company Au Viet Industry, JSC Nguyen Quanh Hung. The visit was a return one, and last year a working group headed by the General Director of "Belshina" Alexander Kovalyov visited Vietnam, where they held a number of meetings with representatives of local companies, including Au Viet Industry. The partnership between the companies has been going on for a long time, and Nguyen first visited Bobruisk back in 2012, reports "Shinnik".

As part of the cooperation, Au Viet Industry intends to sell Belarusian tires in its home market, as well as make reciprocal deliveries of natural rubber, which is planned to be used for Minsk Automobile Plant (MAZ) vehicles supplied to the Vietnamese company GMA Automotive Industry. For this reason, a representative of JSC "MAZ" - the managing company of the "BELAVTOMAZ" holding - the head of the export department of UVES Valery Ivashko took part in the negotiations.

During the meeting, an agreement was signed on the supply of natural rubber of the SVR-10 brand from Vietnam, and in addition, "questions of mutual interest were discussed, and opportunities for further development of business relations were explored".

"This is the beginning of a big way," - Alexander Kovalyov briefly characterized the results of the meeting.

In April 2025, Kovalyov said that "Belshina" will supply a large batch of products to Vietnam: "We used to supply tires for quarry equipment here. Last year we resumed our deliveries, but this is already tires for military equipment. Today, questions are being discussed about tires for both agricultural and construction equipment. An agreement of intent has been signed to supply tires for a total of $1 million."
