ASHK certified tires for the Sukhoi Superjet 100
The Altai Tire Plant (ATP) has received a Certificate of Conformity for a component product (CCP), confirming that the 1050x385R482 model 1A tires are suitable for installation on the main strut of the Sukhoi Superjet 100 chassis.
"The receipt of the certificate completes a complex stage of design and experimental work," the company notes. "The development and certification of a new aircraft tire have enabled the plant's engineering and technical staff to gain unique experience, covering the entire cycle - from design and production of prototype samples to qualification tests and a full set of approvals with authorized bodies."
The company adds that the receipt of the CCP is of strategic importance, as the SSJ-100 project is a key one for Russian aircraft construction. "The availability of certified components, including aircraft tires, is an important factor for serial production," they say.
According to ATP representatives, "the receipt of the CCP is clear evidence of the growth of our competencies and the ability to solve the most complex tasks," and the next stage will involve the proactive development of tires for the front support of the modernized SSJ-95NEW chassis.
The company also notes that "the receipt of approval for the Sukhoi Superjet 100 opens up new prospects and confirms the plant's strategic course towards the development of advanced solutions. The Altai Tire Plant is making a contribution to ensuring the country's technological sovereignty, and a part of the labor of its team will be present in every takeoff of domestic airliners."
