ASHK replenishes the line of aircraft tires

The Altai Tire Plant has started producing experimental tires for the front support of the Sukhoi Superjet 10 aircraft chassis, which is part of the import substitution strategy in the domestic aviation industry, the company reported.

The enterprise emphasizes that the key aspect of the project was the deep modernization of production, and in particular, a new hydraulic vulcanizer with a sectoral press mold was installed, which is fundamentally new equipment for the company. The Altai Tire Plant has also already installed assembly machines and a unit for manufacturing wheel rims, and commissioning work is currently underway.

Mastering the new products will allow the Altai Tire Plant to become the only manufacturer in Russia of a full set of tires for the Sukhoi Superjet 100, which will "strengthen the technological independence of domestic aviation and the company's position as a key supplier in the industry," the company says.
