Arctic Falls has built a new test pavilion for winter testing

Arctic Falls has expanded its test facility in Älvsbyn (Norrbotten, Sweden) and opened a new pavilion, which is the company's third covered complex for testing cars and their components, including tires, in winter conditions. 

Swedish company owns several test facilities and is one of the leaders in its field, with clients from all over the world using its services. In recent years, Arctic Falls has been rapidly developing, and since 2009, more than 350 million kronor (30 million euros) have been invested in the Norrbotten facility, with the new pavilion already booked for almost the entire next year.

"The opportunity to conduct winter testing year-round is a necessary condition for the automotive industry to develop and achieve its sustainability goals faster," said Jonas Jalare, CEO of Arctic Falls.

The growing demand for Arctic Falls' services has led to the hiring of more than 10 new employees in 2024 alone, with recruitment of specialists continuing. "Now we need to hire even more people who want to work in an interesting industry where everyone gets opportunities for development," Jalare noted.

Älvsbyn is home to covered complexes for ice and snow testing, with the climate in individual sections regulated individually, meaning clients can use them independently of each other. The pavilion can be used to test tires for acceleration and braking efficiency, as well as slalom handling.
