Apollo Tyres to close Netherlands plant

As early as October 2023, Apollo Tyres talked about its "long-term commitment to production in the Netherlands", but next year this production will be discontinued.

In a statement released today, the tire manufacturer confirms that the board of Apollo Tyres NL BV has notified the plant's works council in Enschede of its intention to discontinue tire production and related activities at the site by summer 2026. Management informed all employees of the Enschede plant at a shareholder meeting.
