Apollo Tyres presented new highway tires

Apollo Tyres has revealed details about its new highway tyre, the Apollo Apterra HT5, designed for the increasingly popular SUVs in India, such as the Toyota Fortuner, Ford Endeavour, and Mahindra Scorpio, with the goal of enhancing city comfort and improving stability and handling on highways.

The company notes that the tyres boast increased puncture resistance and durability, thanks to an enhanced construction using Armour Technology and a Hybrid Fill Compound rubber blend, while the tread pattern adapts to various road conditions, increasing traction and braking efficiency, as well as ensuring the necessary vehicle control, even at high speeds. Additionally, carefully designed sipes make the tread block stiffness more balanced, allowing the tyres to effectively absorb road irregularities, improving ride smoothness, adds Apollo.
