Apollo Tyres introduces Tramplr range of tyres for the Indian two-wheeler segment
Apollo Tyres has launched a range of tyres called Tramplr, designed for on and off-road motorcycles in the enduro class with engine capacities from 150 to 500 cc. Both tyre options were developed at the company's Global R&D Centre in Chennai, India, and are manufactured at Apollo's plant in Gujarat, India.
The Tramplr XR from Apollo is a 70:30 tyre for enduro off-road bikes. It features a tread pattern with large blocks designed to deliver excellent handling and comfort on the road. The tyre uses Apollo's steel radial technology to enhance the structural strength and high-speed stability.
Alongside the XR, Apollo has introduced the new Tramplr ST, an 80:20 enduro street tyre. The tread pattern and siping have been designed to provide grip on both wet and dry roads for urban and off-road riding. Large central blocks and a wide contact patch increase the level of grip. Additional benefits include low noise levels and high-speed stability.
