Apollo introduced new all-season tires for classic cars
Apollo Tyres has introduced new all-season Vredestein Quatrac Classic premium tires for classic cars, combining an authentic look with modern materials and technologies that provide a high level of traction in various weather conditions.
The new tire, which features reduced noise and lower rolling resistance, was developed at the company's research center in the Netherlands and has a directional tread pattern that improves aquaplaning resistance, while the high-silica rubber compound provides better grip on slippery surfaces, including snow, as confirmed by the 3PMSF marking on the sidewalls.

Starting from the second quarter of 2025, the tire will be available in two sizes that, according to Apollo, are most commonly used on classic cars during the winter season. The 185/70 R15 size will fit popular cars like the Triumph TR4/5, Volkswagen Beetle, Porsche 911 (pre-1990 models), and Volvo Amazon, while the 125 R15 size will fit various Citroën models, including the Méhari, Dyane, and 2CV.
The company adds that since its premiere in 1993, Vredestein Quatrac tires have always been one of the most innovative in the all-season tire segment, and the expansion of the range continues to cover an even broader range of vehicles, including SUVs and electric cars. The Vredestein brand also offers a range of tires for classic cars, and the new Quatrac Classic joins models such as the Grip Classic, Snow Classic, Sprint Classic, Sprint+, and Transport Classic.

"With the Vredestein Quatrac Classic, we give classic car owners the opportunity to enjoy driving their vehicles all year round with the necessary level of safety," said Ivo Poulik, Apollo's Vice President of Commercial Europe. "This premiere confirms our ability to combine modern technology with timeless design, and the new tire will be an ideal addition to our constantly growing range of classic car tires."
