Three new truck tires announced by Westlake

The company ZC Rubber, which still holds the status of the largest tire manufacturer in China in terms of sales (although Sailun is rising in the rankings at an alarming rate), will participate in the IAA Transportation exhibition in Hanover and will present three new truck tires under its Westlake brand.

All three novelties belong to the second generation of Westlake tires (as indicated by the corresponding digit in the name) and have the 3PMSF marking, meaning they are certified for use on snow, and also, according to the manufacturer, all tires have significantly reduced rolling resistance, which will provide fuel savings.

The following tires will be presented in Hanover:

Westlake Mixed Terrain WAM2. Tires for mixed operating conditions, featuring a tread pattern with wide zigzag channels, the design of which is designed, among other things, to prevent stones from getting stuck. In addition, the increased contact patch increases the life of the tires. Available in size 385/65 R22.5, and according to the European labeling, the tires received "C" for fuel efficiency, "B" for wet grip and "A" for noise.

Westlake Long Run WSL2. Highway tires for the steering axle with a dense tread pattern that increases their mileage and includes 3D lamellas that improve block stability and handling, while also increasing traction. Offered in size 315/60 R22.5 with a European rating of "B/C/B".

Westlake Long Run WSL2

Westlake Long Run WDL2. Tires for the driving axle, also designed for long-distance transportation. The increased tread width in combination with a dense tread pattern improves the stability and ride of the tires, while the 3D design of the grooves reduces rolling resistance (as block deformation decreases) and increases the level of traction. Tires are produced in sizes 295/60 R22.5 and 315/60 R22.5; European label ratings are "B/C/B".
