In the second half of 2024, under the Nitto brand (owned by Japanese Toyo Tires), new off-road tires Nitto Terra Grappler G3 will be presented, which will replace the second-generation model - Terra Grappler G2, released in 2014. This was told by the president and CEO of Nitto Tire USA, Keiko Brokel, in an interview with MTD.

Answering the question about what novelties to expect, Brokel replied: "Terra Grappler G3, Terra Grappler G3, Terra Grappler G3! Fans of our brand have been waiting for this tire for ten whole years."

According to her, "Terra Grappler is an icon in the off-road tire segment, and the next-generation model is designed with current and future market needs in mind, and will be offered with an impressive warranty mileage of 70,000 miles (113,000 km) for P-metric sizes and 55,000 miles (89,000 km) for LT sizes, which, combined with outstanding qualities on wet and dry pavement, as well as in winter conditions (the tires have a 3PMS marking), makes it the Grappler tire with the best characteristics today."

Brokel also noted that Nitto has the same strong position in the American off-road tire market. "We're doing well, and Grappler tire sales are growing steadily year by year, and since the vast majority of our products in this segment are produced domestically, we've improved inventory replenishment, which has contributed to sales growth," she said. "In general, the overall demand in the market remains, since buying tires is ultimately a necessity. However, it must be said that competition is intensifying significantly."

Nitto Terra Grappler G2 participated in a test of nine All-Terrain class tires conducted by Tyre Reviews in 2022, but ultimately took last place, including due to average off-road characteristics and a dangerously long braking distance on wet pavement, and their only advantage was called a low price.
