In the near future, Alliance Tire Group's will recall a range of tires designed for large agricultural equipment from the US market. This concerns tires marked 445/65 R22.5, produced from 04/22/13 to 11/23/14. In addition, tire products 600/50 R22.5, manufactured from 05/27/13 to 11/02/14, will be recalled from dealerships and consumers.
The reason for the manufacturer's recall is the high risk of deflation, which negatively affects the cost of the tires. The cheapening of the product has reached a level where its sales barely cover the costs of its production. The reason for this effect is the low demand caused by the presence of a problem with similar products.
According to the manufacturer, the presumably short lifespan of the tires is associated with a problem with the radial construction of the belt on the tires, which causes it to separate from the tread, resulting in air escaping from the tires more quickly. The company's specialists are currently studying this issue and searching for a batch with defects. Meanwhile, the company is forced to recall all tires produced during the above-mentioned period.
