Aeolus manufactured an ultra-large tire in a new size

On April 27, the first super-large tire (SLT) with a size of 60/80 R57, almost 4 meters high and about 1.5 meters wide, rolled off the production line of the Aeolus Tyres plant. The company notes that previously, tires of this size were not manufactured in China, and their production will allow closing the gap in the local market for tires for large-sized special equipment.

Local media note that the production of SLT was previously too complex a technical task for Chinese companies, as a result of which foreign brands dominated the domestic market for mining tires. However, in recent years, the situation has changed, and Aeolus, Linglong, Triangle, Guizhou Tyre, and others have presented their tires in this segment.

The Aeolus tire in the new size is designed specifically for 50-ton loaders and can be used in mining, port, and other industries. The manufacturer claims that the tire has all the necessary characteristics, such as high carrying capacity, resistance to cuts, and a long service life.
