The Zeta ZTR18 summer tire is designed for light commercial vehicles. The model is characterized by reliability, traction on wet surfaces, fuel efficiency, and a long service life.
Efficiency on wet surfaces
The tire's tread pattern features an increased number of traction edges. They are formed not only by blocks, but also by lamellas cut into them. These elements also reduce the risk of aquaplaning, directing water from the tire contact zone to one of the nearby drainage grooves.
Increased wear resistance
The tread is very resistant to wear. This is due not only to the properties of the compound, but also to the design of the pattern. In the central part, the blocks are separated from each other by zigzag-shaped cuts, limiting their mobility. The same properties of the shoulder elements are provided by wide bridges. They rigidly fix the blocks, giving them resistance to the deforming effect of lateral acceleration forces. As a result, the load is distributed over the tire contact zone very evenly, which minimizes wear.
Key features of Zeta ZTR18
- efficiency on wet surfaces due to the increased number of traction edges;
- reliability in difficult situations is provided by the rigidity of the shoulder blocks;
- wear resistance is achieved by an optimized rubber compound and tread pattern design.
