The Zeta ZTR08 summer tire is used in compact passenger cars. It is characterized by improved traction on wet surfaces, increased service life, and soft ride.
The tread pattern features an increased width of longitudinal grooves. Their significant volume reduces to a minimum the likelihood of a continuous water film forming between the tire and the road surface. In such conditions, the effectiveness of the tread is also ensured by the numerous edges of the blocks and the notched lamellas in them. They allow the tire to reliably grip the wet road. The stability of the trajectory on dry pavement is provided by the large size and resistance to deformation of the blocks at the edges of the tread. This design also significantly reduces the likelihood of uneven wear and tear, which increases the life of the tire.
Main features of Zeta ZTR08
- a significant volume of longitudinal grooves minimizes the risk of hydroplaning;
- numerous lamellas and elongated block edges improve traction properties on wet surfaces;
- enlarged blocks at the edges of the tread increase trajectory stability when maneuvering, slow down the tire wear process.
