Multi-Grip Rubber Compound
This model was one of the first to use the Multi-Grip rubber compound for the tread. It features a porous structure. The numerous voids absorb moisture from the road surface when in contact, and then dissipate it as the tire rotates. This complex technical solution significantly improves traction on wet and icy roads.
Drainage Grooves with Saw-Tooth Edges
The longitudinal drainage grooves in the central part of the tread have a saw-tooth profile on their side walls. This allows them to capture and hold snow for a short time, which is then quickly removed from the contact patch to the side. Thanks to this, the tire has improved traction in poor weather conditions.
