Description Yokohama decibel E70B
The new Yokohama decibel E70B from the Japanese manufacturer is characterized by efficient traction, acoustic comfort, and improved handling properties. All of this was achieved through the use of modern technologies and the company's own developments.
Tread properties
The basis of the tread model is a combination of different longitudinal ribs, which provide the tire with a range of characteristics. For example, the central rib with small notches is responsible for the stability of straight-line movement and vehicle handling. This also applies to high speeds, when the driver is provided with full control over the vehicle.
In turn, the presence of larger blocks in the shoulder area helps to preserve the contact patch in its original form when maneuvering. Thanks to this design, the efficiency of high-speed turns is achieved while maintaining vehicle handling.
Drainage system
The model features a developed lamellar system in combination with large channels. The combined activity of these elements provides two characteristics at once. Firstly, this is better traction, including on wet road surfaces. Secondly, the risk of aquaplaning is prevented due to the rapid drainage of the contact patch.
Acoustic comfort
It is achieved through the use of specially shaped grooves arranged in a specific order. Thus, not only resonant noises but also vibrations are damped, guaranteeing passengers and the driver the most comfortable driving conditions, including at high speeds.
Main features of Yokohama decibel E70B
- efficient traction in any summer conditions due to the tread structure and the use of a special rubber compound;
- acoustic comfort achieved through the special arrangement of grooves;
- minimization of the risk of aquaplaning due to the system of grooves and lamellas;
- improved maneuverability properties.
