Description Yokohama Bluearth AE51
The Yokohama Bluearth AE51 summer tire is a universal model that suits the driving skills of the overwhelming majority of compact and medium-sized passenger car owners. It is characterized by improved ride smoothness, low noise and vibration levels, traction properties on wet pavement, fuel efficiency, and a long service life, especially on poor roads.
A distinctive feature of the tire is the use of a two-layer tread. Its inner part is made of a rigid compound with high heat conductivity. This significantly reduces rolling resistance and wear, while also increasing directional stability and accuracy in handling at high speeds. The tread area of the tread is highly elastic, and due to the use of orange peel oil and special polymers in its composition, it is resistant to abrasive wear and prolonged heating. This solution largely determines the balance of the tire's operational properties.
The tread pattern with an asymmetric arrangement of elements is also divided into two parts. Its outer side contains longitudinal ribs and blocks with increased resistance to transverse accelerations, which provides accuracy in handling and stability in turns and dynamic maneuvering. The inner part of the tread pattern is distinguished by the presence of numerous traction edges, allowing for more intense acceleration and deceleration, especially on wet pavement. It is worth noting the variety of drainage elements. In particular, longitudinal zigzag-shaped cuts and curved lamellas additionally increase stability and longitudinal traction in rainy conditions.
Key features of the Yokohama Bluearth AE51
- The two-layer tread gives the tire an ideal balance between all operational properties without compromising any of them;
- The tread pattern with an asymmetric arrangement of elements provides stable traction properties and directional stability in any driving mode;
- Special zigzag-shaped cuts and curved lamellas improve longitudinal traction on wet pavement.
