The summer tire Yokohama Advan Sport V107E is designed for dynamic versions of crossovers that are used exclusively on paved roads. It is part of the standard equipment of the Mercedes-Benz AMG GLE, BMW iX3, X3, and X4. It stands out for its high level of traction properties at any speed, precision handling, and braking efficiency on dry and wet surfaces, as well as unusually good fuel economy for such tires.
The asymmetric tread pattern features massive deformation-resistant blocks and ribs. This provides a continuous contact between the tire's tread and the road surface over a very large area, ensuring reliable traction and precise handling at any speed. The rigid construction of the carcass and breaker, which is a "layered cake" of steel and nylon cord using progressive winding methods, has a significant impact on the sporty handling characteristics of this model.
Key features of the Yokohama Advan Sport V107E
- a tread pattern with rigid blocks and ribs provides a high level of traction and handling precision;
- an enhanced carcass and breaker construction gives the handling a sporty character;
- a special compound that is elastic at low temperatures and resistant to wear, cracks, and prolonged heat.
