The summer tire Yokohama Advan Sport V103A is designed for SUV-class vehicles. It is part of the primary equipment of several Mercedes-Benz crossovers. It is characterized by improved traction properties on wet surfaces, acoustic comfort, and a long service life.
Asymmetric Tread
This model is distinguished by balanced operating properties. They are due to the use of an asymmetric tread with several functional properties. The central part, containing solid longitudinal ribs, improves directional stability and steering accuracy at high speeds. The shoulder area on the outside prevents lateral skidding and uneven wear. The inner part of the tread enhances resistance to aquaplaning and increases the efficiency of the tread during longitudinal accelerations.
Reliability on Wet Surfaces
The tire demonstrates excellent traction properties on wet surfaces. This is largely due to the high efficiency of the drainage system, which consists of numerous grooves. Some of them have an original curved shape. It significantly accelerates the process of water removal from the contact patch, which reduces the risk of aquaplaning.
