Yokohama ADVAN Neova AD08 is the new tire in the ADVAN lineup. The novelty came to replace the ADVAN Neova AD07 model, which entered the market six years ago.
Yokohama ADVAN Neova AD08 is designed to become one of the strongest offerings in the range of street tires ADVAN, closest to its racing counterparts. In the creation of Yokohama ADVAN Neova AD08, the company's experience with the World Touring Car Championship was useful. Thanks to this, the tire holds the road perfectly, passes turns at high speeds on a dry surface perfectly, and also has a balance in all the main working characteristics - control, stability, grip on a wet surface, wear resistance and even wear.
The composition of the rubber mixture of the new tire is an improved MS (Micro Silica) Compound technology, which was used in Neova AD07. In "MS Compound 2" a substance was added, which is already used in WTCC tires. As a result, new physical properties were obtained - softness at the micro level and hardness at the macro level. At the micro level, the surface of the compound contacts with the smallest elements of the road surface, increasing the contact patch and thereby improving grip. At the macro level, the compound resists deformation from heating and wear, ensuring excellent grip throughout the life of the tire.
