Description Yokohama Advan A13C
The summer tire Yokohama Advan A13C was part of the standard equipment for the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution. It differs from other models in the Advan line with minor changes in the tread pattern and significant changes in the rubber compound, which allowed it to match the ride quality with the characteristics of a popular sports car.
The tread pattern features an asymmetrical design with enlarged shoulder blocks and a wide continuous rib in the center. These elements, due to their high resistance to deformative influences, provide precise and very fast reactions to the driver's actions, as well as more reliable traction during dynamic maneuvering. These properties are also achieved by the presence of a double steel cord in the breaker and reinforcement in the form of another nylon cord with a spiral winding. This design has exceptional stiffness and resistance to deformation.
Key features of Yokohama Advan A13C
- rigid shoulder blocks and a continuous rib in the middle ensure sporty handling and uncompromising traction during dynamic maneuvering;
- special compound with increased tear and tensile strength, elasticity at low temperatures;
- reinforced breaker, resistant to deformation, provides precision handling and stability at any speed.
