Yokohama AC02B summer tire, passenger model, designed for various weather conditions. This tire is primarily intended for passenger cars with an environmentally friendly approach. The new development uses orange oil, which improves traction and helps save fuel. During the development of the tire, the main focus for specialists was the combination of a sporty character and comfort.

The unique asymmetric tread pattern of the Yokohama AC02B tire, developed using computer modeling, made it possible to obtain not only excellent operating characteristics but also excellent acoustic comfort. As a result of the application of unidirectional water-repellent grooves, excess moisture is quickly removed from the contact patch. The composition of the rubber mixture used in the production of the tire has a high content of natural rubber, which reduces rolling resistance and increases wear resistance.

The use of innovative material in the rubber mixture - orange oil - has made the rubber more flexible, allowing it to maintain high-quality traction characteristics in any weather conditions. Due to the reduction of tire stiffness from the outer zone to the inner zone, it was possible to obtain optimal handling characteristics on winding and straight road sections.

Technological features of the Yokohama AC02B tire

- Created on the basis of nanosilica, therefore, it is minimally affected by temperature fluctuations on various operational properties.
- Due to the use of nanotechnology, the tire has variable stiffness and provides adequate road surface traction and handling sensitivity, as well as increases the effective resource.
- The special tread pattern of the tire, in the form of ribs, made it possible to achieve high directional stability.
- Four deep grooves quickly expel water from the tire's contact patch, preventing aquaplaning.
- A specially designed shoulder area guarantees confident transverse traction.
