A distinctive feature of the Yokohama A352 summer tire is a well-balanced combination of all major performance characteristics. It is for this reason that this model can boast the absence of any pronounced "weak points". This was achieved through the use of modern technologies at all stages of its development. Among them, computer-aided three-dimensional modeling is particularly noteworthy, thanks to which most of the shortcomings were eliminated even in the process of creating this tire.
Consistency of traction properties in any road conditions
One of the key advantages of this model is the consistency of traction properties in any road conditions. This ability is the result of the use in its design of a whole complex of solutions. First and foremost, this is an enhanced carcass, which has a multilayered breaker made entirely of synthetic cord. The materials used in it have not only minimal weight but also high mechanical strength, due to which a very rigid "base" is located directly under the tread.
Another factor that ensures the stability of traction properties is the profile of the tread itself. Its shape is optimized so that even in the tightest turn, the size and configuration of the contact patch remain unchanged. In addition, the above-mentioned design features ensure increased resistance of the tread to uneven wear, as well as its reduced rolling resistance.
Excellent resistance to aquaplaning and low noise level
The next notable feature of this model is the multifunctionality of the tread's drainage system. At the same time, with its "direct responsibilities", namely ensuring maximum resistance to aquaplaning, it performs simply excellently. As for "side" functions, they include noise reduction. Its minimal level is ensured by the multi-step arrangement of transverse drainage grooves.
Key features of Yokohama A352
- consistency of traction in any road conditions is ensured by the enhanced carcass construction and optimized tread profile, which keeps the contact patch size and shape constant even in the tightest turns;
- numerous drainage grooves not only improve resistance to aquaplaning but also, due to their multi-step arrangement, prevent the occurrence of resonant noises and vibrations;
- the rigid design of the dual tread rib in the center reduces fuel consumption, increases the lifespan of the tread, and gives the tire's reactions to steering wheel turns quickness and accuracy.
