The Yokohama A006G summer tire is designed for the most powerful versions of passenger cars. It is intended for use exclusively on racing tracks, structurally representing a "rain" tire for circuit racing. It is the most versatile version of the tire - "medium".

The tread pattern differs from the classic "silica" only by the presence of drainage grooves. They have a V-shaped arrangement. A significant part of the grooves is directed against the direction of movement, which additionally accelerates the removal of water from under the contact patch. The tread blocks are massive and resistant to deformation, which improves the stability of the traction properties and the accuracy of handling, especially when changing direction sharply.

The rubber compound used in the manufacture of the tread is effective in a certain temperature range, as is the case with a real racing compound. But in the case of this tire, the warming-up process takes much less time than that of similar tires from most other brands. Another advantage is the increased resistance to abrasive wear, which increases the mileage of the tire even under extreme loads.
