The Windforce Catchsnow winter tire is installed on SUVs and off-road vehicles. On any slippery surface, it has high efficiency when slowing down and improved traction in adverse weather conditions.
In the central part of the tread, there is one straight and two zigzag grooves. The multidirectional edges of adhesion formed by them increase the stability of the adhesion properties on snow. The open design of the shoulder areas further enhances the resistance to aquaplaning, and in combination with enlarged blocks, the effectiveness of the tread when braking on wet and snowy surfaces. The longitudinally arranged elements in the central part have a complex polygonal shape, which creates additional edges in the contact patch.
