Description Windforce Arctic Power [Нешип] 255/50 R19 107T XL

The non-studded version of the Windforce Arctic Power tire is perfect for everyday use in urban environments. It is characterized by reliable coupling properties on wet and snowy surfaces, increased effectiveness when braking on asphalt, ease of handling, and acoustic comfort.

The tread pattern is notable for its dense cutting and multidirectional arrangement of lamellas. Narrow slits with serrated edges provide reliable coupling on any slippery surface, along with a rubber compound that retains elasticity at very low temperatures. Another feature of the pattern is the small width of the blocks and the central longitudinal rib. This increases the number of high and long walls, improving traction and coupling properties on snow. The presence of numerous grooves between the blocks provides resistance to aquaplaning and allows the tire to better handle a mixture of water and snow on the road surface.

Key Features of Windforce Arctic Power (Non-Studded)

- a large number of 3D lamellas with serrated edges provide stable traction and coupling properties on the most slippery winter roads;
- excellent performance on snow due to numerous cross-shaped grooves along the edges of the tread;
- a rubber compound based on "silica" and polymers remains elastic at low temperatures, ensuring reliable coupling in challenging winter conditions

Windforce Arctic Power: Budget-friendly winter tyre for city and snow driving

The model offers confident grip on snow and a smooth ride at an affordable price, making it popular among crossover owners. However, on bare ice, it requires careful handling, giving way to studded counterparts in predictability.

Who is it suitable for: This tyre will be a reasonable choice for drivers who spend most of their time in the city with cleared roads. Buyers often note its ability to "plough" through snowy slush and maintain elasticity in severe frosts. The presence of stud holes allows the set to be modified for more severe conditions if necessary. The high profile and soft sidewall provide comfort on uneven asphalt, which is important for Russian roads. SUV owners will find suitable sizes and sufficient load capacity here. For those looking for a balance between price and winter capabilities, this is one of the best offers in the segment. Regular street cleaning allows the tyre tread to reach its potential without the risk of frequent skidding.

Who should consider an alternative: It's better to choose a different class if your route often passes through uncleared ice or rural highways at high speed. On slippery surfaces without snow, the braking distance may increase, which requires an increased distance. Fans of sporty driving should consider that during sharp turns on a wet road, slight tilting is possible. If absolute silence in the cabin is critical for you, it's worth remembering the possible variations in acoustic comfort. For those who are not ready to check the wheel balancing at a tyre fitting shop immediately after purchase, it's worth being more careful with the initial installation. You shouldn't expect premium steering wheel informativeness in extreme winter driving modes.

Main reason for choice: The main reason to buy is the opportunity to get a functional winter tyre without overpaying for the brand. You gain in comfort and snow capability, making a compromise in the form of a need for more careful driving on icy sections. It is reasonable to expect reliable performance in "home-work-store" mode in metropolitan conditions. With moderate driving, it justifies every invested ruble, offering a resource comparable to more expensive analogues. This is a practical solution for a second car or for drivers with a moderate driving style. In its price range, it provides the maximum safety for reasonable money.
