Description Windforce Arctic Blazer
The winter non-studded tyre Windforce Arctic Blazer is designed for passenger cars. The model with an asymmetric tread pattern is intended for use in challenging winter conditions. It is characterised by reliable traction properties on snow and ice, stability while driving, and precise reactions to steering.
The working surface is divided into several functional zones by wide longitudinal grooves. The central tread with blocks of various shapes forms a multitude of transverse and diagonal edges, which enhance grip during acceleration and braking. The massive elements in the shoulder areas increase stability during manoeuvring, and the groove system promotes the removal of water and snow slush from the contact patch.
The high density of three-dimensional wavy lamellas improves traction on snowy and icy surfaces and contributes to a more even tread wear. The rubber compound with silica additive retains its working properties over a wide range of temperatures and increases the tyre's efficiency on snow and ice.
