This tire is positioned by the manufacturer as a model intended for operation, first and foremost, on highways. This is exactly why its tread has a number of characteristic features. All tread blocks have lamellas cut into them. These small elements, when in contact with the road surface, form numerous traction edges. This solution is most effective in rainy conditions, as the lamellas not only improve traction but also increase resistance to aquaplaning, draining water into one of the nearby drainage grooves.
