Description Viking Protech HP
The Viking Protech HP summer tire is designed primarily for everyday use on any asphalt roads. It is characterized by reliable handling on wet surfaces, stability of traction properties at high speeds, comfortable quiet and smooth ride, and increased mileage.
The tread pattern is made in an asymmetric design, in which massive elements prevail. In combination with the tire profile, this increases the area of the contact zone with the road surface, enhancing grip on dry surfaces and reducing the level of abrasive impact on the tread. The next important feature is the presence of a large number of transverse edges. They are formed by both blocks and lamellas, which provides the tire with the ability to intensely accelerate and brake on wet surfaces. At the same time, numerous transverse and wide longitudinal grooves effectively combat aquaplaning, preventing the formation of a continuous water film between the tire and the road surface. Another of its distinguishing features is the optimized structure of the sidewalls. Their profile has a shape that provides, on the one hand, ease of handling, and on the other hand, a sufficiently high level of ride smoothness.
Key features of the Viking Protech HP:
- a large number of inclined edges of blocks and lamellas increases traction and braking intensity on wet surfaces;
- massive blocks on the edges of the tread enhance grip when cornering, provide more precise handling, and prevent uneven tire wear;
- optimized sidewalls and carcass improve handling at high speeds, giving the tire a smoother and quieter ride;
- wide longitudinal grooves reduce the risk of hydroplaning, maintaining high reliability of handling on wet surfaces.
