Description Урал С-129
The Ural S-129 winter tire has several key advantages that set it apart. And it's not just the attractive price. The use of modern technologies and materials in its design has made it possible to provide it with high technical characteristics, comparable to those of more expensive analogs from more well-known brands.
Triple Tread Blocks
One of the key features of the tread of this model is the presence of blocks consisting of three polygonal elements. This design is intended to provide the tire with maximum longitudinal traction characteristics, especially on snow. This is largely due to the large distance between the blocks. Moreover, all three parts of them are located almost closely to each other. This significantly limits their mobility in the longitudinal direction, which gives stability to the coupling properties during acceleration and deceleration.
Reliable Grip on Ice
All tread blocks have special notches - lamellas. When in contact with the road, each of these miniature elements creates additional edges of adhesion. This significantly improves the adhesion properties on packed snow and ice. However, a much larger part of them is ensured by the numerous studs that are arranged in such a way that when moving, they form 8 continuous rows.
Excellent Passability in Deep Snow
A distinctive feature of the design of the shoulder areas is the significant height of the blocks located here. Due to this, when moving through deep snow, they perform the role of mudguards, thanks to which the tire demonstrates good passability in difficult areas.
Main Features of Ural S-129
- optimized tread pattern design with numerous triple blocks improves traction on snow, and due to the formation of four longitudinal ribs, good directional stability and maneuverability;
- a large number of lamellas and 8 rows of studs provide reliable traction on ice.
