The Tunga Zodiac summer tire is one of the most notable innovations from a well-known domestic manufacturer. This model, being designed primarily for inexpensive small-class passenger cars, differs from numerous analogs with a very aggressive design. At the same time, the impressive exterior appearance is combined with very worthy operational characteristics, which is not as common as one would like.
Excellent resistance to aquaplaning
A distinctive feature of the V-shaped design of the tread of this model is the presence of a very developed drainage system. At the same time, all its components have a significant internal volume. Additionally, it is impossible not to note the location of most of the drainage grooves against the direction of movement, as well as their curved shape and variable cross-section. The combination of such design features significantly increases the throughput of the drainage system, and with it, the tire's resistance to aquaplaning, which remains even at very high speeds.

Most of the tread elements have significant dimensions and a very rigid structure. These features make it possible to improve a number of very important operational properties. First of all, this is the grip on a dry road, achieved due to the large size of the contact patch. Additionally, it is worth noting the presence of a large number of very long edges formed by numerous tread blocks. It is this that allows this model to demonstrate excellent traction properties even on a wet surface.
