Description Tunga Road
Summer tire Tunga Road, although designed for passenger cars, is extremely close to crossover and SUV tires in terms of operational characteristics. This is due to the scope of the model's application — asphalt roads with very worn asphalt, as well as dirt roads.
The tread pattern is executed in a classic symmetric design, providing predictable behavior and ease of handling. The central part contains a double longitudinal rib, giving the tread additional stiffness, increasing directional stability and handling accuracy, and reducing wear. In the shoulder areas, there are massive blocks with transverse edges, improving traction during maneuvering and braking. They also stabilize the tire in turns and provide control during sharp changes in trajectory.
The effectiveness of the tread on dirt roads is ensured by a drainage system consisting of wide grooves, a significant part of which is directed against the direction of movement. This allows for intensive removal of water and its mixture with dirt particles from the contact patch. Another important feature is the use of a rubber compound created using Silica Tech technology, which includes silicon dioxide and synthetic polymers. This compound gives the tread increased elasticity and resistance to abrasive wear, while reducing its heat generation during high-speed movement. Thanks to this, the tire demonstrates good fuel efficiency and durability. The tire's carcass is reinforced with modern synthetic cord, increasing resistance to impact loads and preventing deformation even when driving on uneven roads.
Main features of Tunga Road:
- symmetric tread pattern provides stable traction and even wear;
- drainage system effective on both wet and dirt roads;
- Silica Tech compound improves traction and extends tread life.
