Tunga PS-3

Improved tread design

A lot of time was spent developing the tread pattern, but the result justified all expectations. The optimally selected block arrangement structure made it possible to improve traction and coupling characteristics. To improve directional stability and accelerate feedback, a special massive channel was used in the central part of the tread. Additional small and deep channels quickly remove water and dirt from the tire, increasing grip with the road surface and preventing possible aquaplaning. In the shoulder area, elongated blocks with sharp edges are used, which increase stability during maneuvers.

A large number of lamellas of various shapes and depths reduce noise when moving and increase coupling characteristics with a wet road surface. Even in heavy rain, the tire demonstrates excellent handling and increased stability.

Impact-resistant carcass

Any truck tire is constantly exposed to damage and punctures. To minimize this, a special impact-resistant carcass was used in this model. It is made using a new winding technology with the application of steel rings and reinforced cord. Due to this, the Tunga PS-3 tire can withstand prolonged increased loads and has a minimal percentage of damage and punctures. Also, the new carcass design made it possible to achieve uniform pressure inside the tread, which prevented uneven wear and increased the tire's mileage.
