Triangle TR998

The Triangle TR998 summer tire is designed for dynamic versions of compact passenger cars. It provides sporty handling precision, extremely low aquaplaning tendency, and stability during maneuvering.

The tread pattern features an effective directional design with a symmetrical arrangement of elements. At the center, there is a wide rib, the monolithic structure of which provides handling precision, reduces straight-line wandering. The paired blocks located nearby form a large number of longitudinal edges in the contact patch, ending in the shoulder areas. This increases traction and braking efficiency. The tread profile is optimized so that under load, the contact patch increases in size, taking on a nearly square shape. As a result, adhesion and its stability are enhanced, and uneven wear is reduced.
