Description Triangle TR257 225/60 R17 99V

Triangle TR257 — a summer tire designed for use on passenger cars.

This tire was produced on the most modern equipment using the latest materials. A specially selected rubber compound for the tread allowed to increase wear resistance and extend the service life of the tire.

An individually designed tread pattern improved stability, allowing the driver to fully control the situation on the road. Four longitudinal grooves effectively drain water from the contact patch, reducing the effect of aquaplaning. Due to this, you can fully control the behavior of the car on the road, regardless of the weather. The central row of tread blocks improves directional stability, and the lateral blocks, having a special shape and distance between them, increase stability when cornering.

The Triangle TR257 tire has passed various tests, including electronic quality control, and has gained recognition among car enthusiasts for its excellent operational characteristics, as well as its low cost.

Main features of the Triangle TR257 tire

- increased wear resistance and extended service life;
- excellent grip on any road surface;
- minimal aquaplaning effect;

Triangle TR257: budget comfort for SUV with proven durability

The model is of interest to crossover owners who are looking for a soft, quiet tyre for city and highway driving without overpaying for a brand. With calm driving up to 130 km/h, you will get premium-level comfort, but aggressive drivers are better off looking towards the UHP segment.

Who is it suitable for: This tyre proves itself on urban crossovers and SUVs, where a smooth ride and absorption of irregularities are important. Buyers more often note comfort at a level of 4.28/5 — the rubber well smooths out joints and minor defects in the road surface. For the highway, the model is suitable at speeds of up to 130 km/h, where directional stability is rated at 4.36/5. Wear resistance is confirmed by mileage of 30-80 thousand kilometres with a remaining tread. Four longitudinal grooves effectively drain water, although in heavy rain it is worth keeping a distance. The owners, who have driven into potholes without consequences, praise the durability of the sidewalls. The price makes the tyre a reasonable choice for seasonal operation with a mileage of 15-25 thousand km per year. For a budget replacement on an SUV, this is one of the most balanced options on the market.

Who should consider an alternative: It's better to choose a different class if you regularly drive above 140 km/h — there are complaints about vibration after 100-120 km/h, especially on sizes R18-R19. For sporty driving with sharp lane changes, this model is not intended — the speed index V and design are calculated for a calm driving style. In regions with frequent heavy rainfall, it's worth considering that some owners note a tendency to aquaplaning on wet roads. If maximum handling accuracy and zero discomfort are required, it's more reasonable to look at the premium segment. When purchasing, it's worth checking the set at the tyre fitting shop — individual specimens require wheel balancing with weights of 60-110 grams.

Main reason for choice: The main argument for purchasing is the price-to-quality ratio, which is repeated in 60+ reviews as the primary factor in choosing these tyres. You get comfort and softness comparable to more expensive counterparts, but without overpaying for the brand. The practical benefit is that the tyre lasts for 30-80 thousand kilometres, which, with a budget of 6680-10520 rubles, provides a low cost per kilometre of mileage. A reasonable compromise is to accept that this is not a sports tyre, but a reliable workhorse for daily use. The level of expectations should be kept realistic: city and highway up to 130 km/h, calm driving style, average roads. The final advice is to choose these tyres for an SUV, where comfort and durability are more important than sharp steering responses.
