Trazano All Season Elite Z-401

Trazano All Season Elite Z-401 — an all-season tyre for passenger cars, designed for variable weather and mild winters. It allows year-round use in regions where severe frosts and prolonged ice are not typical. The directional tread pattern ensures confident handling on dry asphalt, as well as during rain or wet snow.

The tread design features diverging V-shaped grooves. While driving, these channels direct water and slush away from the central contact area toward the edges. This drainage system helps the tread maintain grip on wet and snow-covered roads — the very purpose behind the directional geometry of the Z-401.

The tread is divided by long diagonal grooves into numerous elongated blocks. Their edges are angled differently relative to the direction of travel, and the grooves spread outward from the center toward the shoulders. As a result, water and melting snow are efficiently channeled outwards across the entire width of the tread surface.

The blocks are covered with a high number of thin, wavy sipes. Upon road contact, these create additional biting edges and increase the number of grip points. The manufacturer links this sipe system to improved traction on wet and snowy surfaces, which is especially beneficial during rain, slush, and transitional seasons.

Central elements form a dense, continuous directional rib, while elongated shoulder blocks extend the pattern to the tread edges. Open diagonal channels remain between them, ensuring the drainage network continues uninterrupted across the full width of the contact patch. This provides effective water and slush evacuation from the center to both sides of the tyre.
