Tracmax Ice-Plus SR1 – a model for light commercial vehicles used during the winter period. The model is characterized by reinforced sidewalls, tread efficiency, and carcass durability.
A special compound was used in it, which contains plasticizers and silica. These components contribute to the preservation of rubber elasticity even at low temperatures, maintaining operational properties in working condition.
The tread design has a directional structure, represented by numerous blocks separated by channels. In the central part, there are polygonal elements separated by deep channels from the lateral zone. The latter contains quadrangular formations with through cuts. All this contributes to the rapid removal of water and snow masses from the contact area and promotes a more dense fit to the road surface.
To improve traction and braking properties, the tire is covered with numerous lamellas having different directions. Opening during braking or acceleration, they contribute to an increase in the contact area.
