The Toyo Versado LX tire is designed for use on luxury-class vehicles. It guarantees a comfortable, quiet and smooth ride, providing excellent performance characteristics and excellent qualities of a summer tire. This is the first tire in the new line of premium-class models.
This tire is the company's latest development. In the process of creating the tread, one of the company's latest developments was used - Toyo Silent Wall. These are 4 longitudinal drainage grooves, as well as sufficiently densely arranged rows of "notches" on the sidewalls of the grooves in the shoulder area. The use of this technology makes it possible to reduce noise in the 500Hz range (the most unpleasant and perceptible sound frequency for a person). Since ordinary drainage grooves located in the shoulder area have smooth walls, air passes through them and a noise effect called "cavity resonance" occurs. In the process of creating the tread, multi-wave lamellas were used, which provide a more even wear of the tread and reduce the noise effect of worn tires.
In addition, the tire has an asymmetric, non-directional tread with massive solid blocks located on the outer shoulder. This design increases maneuverability when cornering. Due to the multi-wave lamellas, the displacement of the blocks of the Toyo Versado LX tire when cornering during braking and acceleration is reduced. This creates an optimal contact patch on any surface, which significantly improves handling.
Improved operating characteristics on wet surfaces and with slight snowfall are achieved due to the densely arranged lamellas on the blocks of the inner shoulder, providing the so-called "knife-edge effect". Confident straight-line movement is obtained thanks to the new tire design, which provides energy absorption when impacted. The specially designed tread also guarantees durability and more even wear. Due to the powerful self-cleaning mechanism, the tire feels great on wet road surfaces. All these characteristics have made the model quite popular among consumers.
