Tire specifications
DescriptionDescription Toyo TYDRB
The Toyo TYDRB summer tire is designed for use on passenger cars from most world manufacturers. The Toyo TYDRB tire also handles a sporty driving style perfectly. Its tread combines not only aesthetic but also functional qualities.
This model has a number of characteristics that allow improving its operational qualities.
Advantages of the Toyo TYDRB tire
Firstly, it is the presence of a tread with a special V-shaped structure. At its base are numerous blocks of elongated shape. This allows for more effective resistance to aquaplaning by diverting excess moisture from the contact patch. At the same time, such a structure allows minimizing rolling resistance, reducing fuel consumption. The tread also has a central rib that increases directional stability.
Secondly, the special composition of the rubber mixture, which includes silicic acid. Thanks to it, the Toyo TYDRB tire has improved traction. This effect is complemented by the special structure of the blocks in the shoulder area. All this increases the maneuverability of the car on various road surfaces, including wet asphalt.
Thirdly, it is the stylish design of the tire, which gives the car a more aggressive look. In addition, the tire has noise-reducing properties that provide a more comfortable ride.

I bought these tires for my Mazda 6, size 225/45 R18. First, I'll write about the downsides:
1. Right after installation, I drive out and the steering wheel starts pulling hard to the right, and when I get back and swap them around, the problem persists. I've checked the alignment and it's okay, but the tires are very stiff and every bump and incline is felt.
2. They are very noisy

The tire showed itself to be excellent!
I will briefly describe the advantages and disadvantages, trying to reason from the position of ordinary civilian drivers with the pretension of "driving".

Fantastic tire! The price-quality ratio is at the top. On a wet and dry road, the differences are minimal. It brakes perfectly. Aquaplaning is almost nonexistent. On the road - as if on rails.
A bit soft, wears out... (I've driven it for two seasons - enough for another one), but the price compensates for this drawback.
