Toyo Tranpath MPZ

The Toyo Tranpath MPZ summer tire is designed for small and medium-sized passenger cars. The model is offered in sizes for 14-, 15-, 16-, 17- and 18-inch wheels. At the same time, their speed index is H-W, which is significantly higher than that of most models of other brands in the same price range.

Increased tread width

A distinctive feature of the tire is the increased tread width. This feature not only improves traction on dry pavement. Due to the reduced load on the tread, the level of mechanical stress on it is reduced, which significantly slows down its wear.

3D-lamellas

Additional wear resistance is provided by numerous lamellas. They have a wavy shape, and their walls have depressions and protrusions with edges in all three projections. This solution limits the mobility of the blocks when the lamellas are opened and increases the area of their contact with the road surface. As a result, the load is distributed over the contact patch more evenly, which reduces wear. But the main purpose of the lamellas is to increase the stability of the tire when braking and maneuvering on slippery roads. This property is provided by the numerous facets formed when these elements come into contact with the road.

Rigid edge on the outside

A distinctive feature of the asymmetric tread is the hypertrophied size of the outer shoulder area. The blocks located here are massive and directed perpendicular to the direction of movement. This solution prevents uneven wear and increases the life of the tire, as well as improves stability when maneuvering.

Silent Wall

Behind this name lies an original design of the side walls of the longitudinal drainage grooves. Their ribbed surface prevents the occurrence of high-frequency noises from the air. It is formed by the high-speed flow passing along the drainage grooves.
