The Toyo Snowprox S950 winter tire stands out for its effectiveness on both dry and snowy/icy roads. It firmly grips the road surface, providing complete control over the vehicle. It has an increased resource and stability of operational properties.
The symmetrical tread pattern has a wide solid rib in its center, made of a durable compound. It contributes to stabilizing handling in various weather conditions, making the vehicle's behavior as predictable as possible. The wide middle zone, transitioning into the shoulder, features numerous blocks with sharp edges, supplemented by a network of lamellas. Thanks to them, the efficiency of fixing the contact patch on a slippery road is achieved. The elongated elements of the shoulder area, extending onto the sidewalls, are designed to increase traction on loose snow.
The model is developed using a high-tech compound containing silica components. They provide a high level of adaptation to low-temperature modes, contributing to the maintenance of elasticity of the tread blocks. As a result, the effectiveness of traction and towing properties is preserved.
Key features of the Toyo Snowprox S950:
- reliability of traction and coupling properties in winter due to the multitude of engagement edges;
- quick self-cleaning of the contact area through a developed drainage system;
- a solid rib in the center, increasing the accuracy of handling and maneuverability;
- a special compound that maintains the elasticity of the tread in a wide temperature range
