DescriptionDescription Toyo Snowprox S941
The Toyo Snowprox S941 winter tire is perfectly suited for compact passenger cars. The model is beautifully adapted for urban use, providing a high level of safety in any conditions.
Tread designed in "digital"
When creating the tire, modern technologies were widely applied. One of them is DSOC-II, a new version of the method of computer modeling of real road conditions. One of the results of its application was a V-shaped tread pattern, consisting of several functional areas with different structures. Each of them provides the tire with certain operational properties, making it balanced, i.e. without any "weak points".
Arrow-shaped rib in the center
In the middle of the tread, there is a wide longitudinal rib. This element is made in an original arrow-shaped form. Its solid structure improves directional stability, maneuverability, and fuel efficiency. In turn, the numerous "fins" create a large number of grip edges in the tire contact area with the road. Their inclined arrangement improves both longitudinal traction and lateral stability on snow.
P-shaped shoulder blocks
The shoulder blocks also have an original design. They have a P-shaped form, with a rigid connector connecting the two parts of these elements located on the side of the tire sidewall. This solution significantly improves the effectiveness of the shoulder blocks in turns, as well as additionally enhances longitudinal traction on snow.
Main features of the Toyo Snowprox S941 tire
- balanced characteristics thanks to DSOC-II technology;
- the arrow-shaped rib in the central part improves directional stability and longitudinal traction;
- P-shaped shoulder blocks increase the effectiveness of the tread in turns, during acceleration and braking on snow.

not bad at all
for the city - ideal: it handles dry, wet, and muddy roads perfectly, and it drives smoothly, but for those who live or often drive on unpaved roads, it will be a problem, a more aggressive tread is needed. It doesn't make any noise at all!!!
Pros: in terms of price-quality, it's great!!!
Cons: once again, mud - not very good- Control on a dry road
- Steering in the wet
- Control in the snow
- Control on ice
- Control on dirt

The first impression is quite worthy!
I will describe the first impressions. Weather: around 0°C, light drizzle, wet asphalt, uncleared snow on the sides of the road, small puddles. It is immediately noticeable that the behavior on wet asphalt is very good. Braking is very confident at a speed of 80 km/h (did not accelerate further). However, I did not press the brake pedal all the way down, braking was quite smooth, but it feels like

very good tire
I've driven 2 seasons, in the city it behaves perfectly, especially in snowy slush and on asphalt. Compared to Bridgestone IC5000, it's heaven and earth. Bridgestone constantly slipped into understeer, and when starting off it often wheeled.
